This life is not mine and the energy that flows through my body, keeping my eyes open and synapses responsive, is only temporary. When it is done flowing through me, it will go back to God along with the uniqueness that was my soul and spirit. Each person is gifted a similar energy governed by a universal truth and grace.  We are each equally allowed to achieve our highest expression of self using that energy during our temporary stay on Earth.  And day by day I will feel this greatness and aim to make the best of the precious energy that God has blessed me with.  Crying out in twisted agony and hopeless emotion is dampening on that spirit that God gave you.  We've all been there.  Some of us are still there.  But a dry eye is better able to see a clearly defined source of light; otherwise, vision is unclear - the washed brightness or sinking darkness can be painfully overwhelming.  Yet don't feel down about being....down.  What is high without ...

I used to be the girl who resented the new faces that appeared in the gym each new year. This new attitude came during the end and immediately after I deemed my transformation "complete." I considered myself to be some hardcore fitness expert....because I did it . I even remember thinking and writing "just quit - because you will eventually anyway." Oh my god - why the bitchy, kick you down attitude??? I really was pretty abrasive. Perhaps a bit of a bully... What gave me the right to be such an asshole? Look - how many people say they're "going to start on Monday?" Ok, so take that mindset and apply it to a brand new year after there have been many big holidays and times for indulgence and downright extravagance.
